Nickname new numbers
I work with service and have contact alot by sms sending 10 sms back and forth, then finished bye bye.
I would lite to be able to set a temporary nicknamn on the number in textra without adding the number as a contact.1 vote -

I would like to use quick replies, but all of those are in English. It would be great to be able to modify those quick reply alternatives via settings.

Ring tones From Textra Settings Without Zedge

I create my own ringtones, and store them on my phone in the OEM folder "Ringtones" as with other texting apps, I want to select one (Mp3 format) directly without having to Install Zedge and use that app's stock ringtones.2 votes -

app closes itself after sending texts
immediately after sending the first reply back to any text i get the app closes and send me back to my home screen. i did not experience this on my last phone and have looked through all the settings to find an answer. anyone else experience this? i have the S21

colors
please consider adding darker, richer colors, like ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green or even the ability to customize shades that are personal preferences

Highlight the links
In the texts, there are often links (telephone numbers, addresses, codes, etc.). Currently they are underlined but I think it is useful to highlight them better by choosing a different color than normal text. Thanks

Galaxy 4 smartwatch
Is there any way Textra can be adapted for the new generation of Samsung Galaxy watches? I've used Textra for so long, but if I want to use my watch for notifications, I don't have the choice at this time other than the native Samsung messages app. :(

auto block sms based on keywords or regex
alot of the spam messages contain a php url.
if we could auto block or quarantine messages containing ".php?" that would be a good start34 votes -
Ability to group conversations into folders
Add the ability to add conversations to collapsible folders, and if possible, allow them to be placed into multiple folders. ex: text from partner/parents/siblings go into Family, friends into Friends, work contacts into Work/Business, etc.

Delete confirmation
Please add option to display a confirmation before deleting from the menu.
Any operation which cannot be undone should have an optional confirmation.
I have a hand tremor, and I just accidentally deleted an important SMS after I opened the menu.
The confirmation dialogue could be an option in settings, to allow extra safety for those who want it (such as those with a hand tremor).1 vote -
