  1. Better "failed to send" message notification

    Recently I have had many messages that have "failed to send", for whatever reason. but because I click send then typically trust or assume it sent, close the app and wait for a reply before opening that conversation again, if that message failed to send that person's not likely to reply to it and I'm not likely to open that conversation again for several days. Meaning I don't realize the message failed to send, I think they ignored it or something. because currently the only way to see a message failed to send is to reopen that same conversation and…

  2. Folders/ categories

    It would be great if there was a feature where we could group our text messages by categories or in a folder. That way if I want to find all of my family text messages they would be in a folder that I've created and added their text threads to that. same thing with friends, coworkers etc. having categories/folders would be awesome.

  3. back up text messages into printable pdfs

    It would be awesome if textra added an option to back up a text message conversation into a printable pdf that you can email to yourself so you can print it.

  4. Future Send Message

    there are a few of us that send messages every morning and a specific time to a group for example sending Bible scriptures to a group at 6:00 a.m. so we can start our day..
    pretty frequent user experience
    launch daytime send calendar day time..

  5. select a message to give response to.

    just like Signal or Whatsapp. give the ability to select a message and then highlight it as the message I'm responding to.

  6. Separate tab for subscriptions

    I subscribe to a few different text groups, and could see benefit to those being in a separate tab as opposed to getting bogged down with other text conversations.

    it would be awesome if you could add/delete people from a group message. most text apps can...pulse...samsung msgs. really handy

  8. hard to get to top messages

    please make it behave like the stock samsung ui msgs...have a large header up top and when u scroll down it goes away...it's hard to reach the messages up top.

  9. Add support for Android emoji reactions

    I've seen posts in relation to iPhone reactions, however, Android now has text message reactions as well. It would be nice if they actually showed up on the message (and if you were able to do them yourself), rather than just sending a message saying '[emoji] to [message]'.

  10. Annoyance

    There is no option to keep the messenger from closing when sending replies. When I receive a message, I click to reply and after sending 1 message the messenger automatically closes.

    This is annoying because I typically send a few texts when I reply. So I should have an option to disable this feature.

    This problem is so annoying that I am tempted to switch back to Facebook's messenger

    There should be a way to save messsges incase you switch or lose your phone. I'd really appreciate that

    Textra Pro should have a feature that allows for SMS and MMS messages to be saved, backed up, and restored via a backup file.

    Please come up with some way that we can block texts from specific domains. particularly Gmail.com. I'm getting group texts from random addresses at Gmail that have 20 recipients at least 4 or 5 times a day. blocking them doesn't work since they are random addresses, but all from Gmail.

  19. Database cleanup

    I just deleted a 1.16gb database. Had to do the same thing a year or two ago. Can you add some type of DB maintenace? Taking up that much space is crazy considering it is now 90mb after deletion.
