  7. Square Contact Icons like in chompSMS

    You guys have this feature on chomp. Why not have it on Textra? I've been using chomp for years waiting for you guys to add this particular feature to Textra.

  8. Vibration - yes (when vibrations for phone calls are turned on).

    Can you please add one more option related to vibration from telephone calls?
    Normally I have always turned on all kind of vibration notification, but at night I would like to have all vibrations turned off.
    Now there is an option: “yes (when there are ONLY vibration turned on)”
    And I would like to have: “yes(when vibrations for phone calls are turned on).
    Something like that, of course if there is such a possibility :)

    You should be able to choose group or bulk when making a group instead of in settings because sometimes you want to send a text to multiple people and sometimes you want to make a group

    I swear if I have one more pop up ad open when I go to select the top message in this app and I click on it I'm going to scream! Seriously, just display it in the top slot 100% of the time, or let it scroll a few down and reset to the top before it leaves the screen. It's extremely infuriating to get conned into clicking on those things. I've already uninstalled in the past for this, and you changed it so I came back. I'm about a 16th of an inch from doing it again and never…

  15. Text bubbles and shades of black

    The text message bubbles should synchronize when multiple texts are sent at the same time. For example: if three texts are sent at the same time, only one of those texts should have the tail and the others should just mesh with it like it does on What's App, IOS, and other text message apps. Love the app. I really like all the customizations, maybe another shade of black between pitch black and dark gray would be nice.

  16. bug in menu bar on android 8

    when first launching Textra the menu bar blinks dark and then goes white. this does not happen when switching back to the app once launched. also should go dark to match dark themes. samsung galaxy s9.

  20. Ability to select all messages inside a conversation thread, or auto-delete messages older than a certain time.

    It would be nice to be able to select all messages inside a conversation instead of one by one like it is right now, so that I can then de-select the few messages i want to keep.
    It would be even nicer to add the function to auto-delete messages older than a certain time period (older than a month for example) so that the inbox is auto-maintained and we just lock messages we want to keep.
