  2. change the color of the header in each contacts thread and also have the color reflected in the conversations list.

    i like the idea of changing the bubble colors but the header is still set to same color across all menus. id like that color to be unique to the thread and for that color to be show in the conversation list if a contact photo isnt present.

  3. put customizable or different keyboards.

    my keyboard is stock white/grey and it looks weird with the dark backgrounds. :( add a black, white, grey, or customizable keyboard color.

  4. Delete thread inside thread

    I want the ability to delete an entire thread from inside the thread itself. If I"delete last" from the popup window it still leaves the thread open in my list of threads, even if there are no messages. I then have to back out of the thread just to remove it. This boggles my mind. So, from the popup window, if I want to delete a thread, I must click on the options, go to app, hit back, and then remove. If I'm already in the app, I have to go to the thread to read the messages, then go…

  5. Have personal picture as background

    On the traditional messaging app that comes with every phone, you are able to have a personal picture as your background for your messages. That should also be an option on Textra

  6. Auto Download MMS to SD-card instead of internal storage

    When you receive a Picture or anything that is mms it will auto download to your sd card instead of your internal storage. You can change it in settings to auto download to internal storage or sd card

  7. Crashing a LOT Lately

    In the past few days, Textra is freezing up completely and crashing a LOT. Never used to do this. I have a Galaxy S6 Edge on Verizon, with Android 5.0.2.

The settings for my phone have the Month/date/year. How can this be changed in the app? Also, can you include a feature to delay a message being sent for example: choose a date and time, not just minutes or hours.

  12. Change Advertisement Location

    I completely understand the need for ads in the free version, but is there any way to change the location of where they appear?

    Currently, advertisements display up at the very top of the conversations list. Because they need to load and, therefore, don't appear instantly, I find myself accidentally clicking on them FAR too often.

    The delay in the ad loading and displaying is perfectly timed for it to appear under my thumb during my motion to press the top conversation.

    I truly do it time and time again despite knowing the cause, so I figure that's reason enough…

    Show some love for your international users and implement a date option feature. MMDDYYYY is really strange. You need DDMMYYYY and YYYYMMDD as an option

  15. MMS Auto Send

    Have the option to manually turn on/off mobile data to send/receive MMS messages as well as automatically. It's rather tedious to go through the process of typing the ideal message to caption the attached video or message and then have to manually turn on/off mobile data just to send it. This gives us users of both sides (manual and automatic) to have the perfect compromise. Please make this happen before another message app figures it out. Thank you

  16. Increase Font Padding

    I know this sounds like a minor complaint, but visually it could go a long way. I loved the Google Messenger app and comparatively one of my biggest takeaways was the padding of the chat bubbles. It's nearly twice as much as Textra and makes me feel like I can breathe, whereas Texra's makes me feel claustrophobic.

  18. To support the always on display on the S7

    Currently, only the stock messaging app on the S7 supports this feature, but I imagine other apps can add support. Considering I use Textra as my main messenger app, support for this future would be amazing.

  19. I want my mobile data to automatically turn on and off when sending pictures

    On my old phone I could send any picture or video without having to turn on and off my data. Now I have to, and I would like for the old feature to be put back. It makes things a lot easier.
