    allow pop ups to work in landscale orientation, instead of auto rotating to portrait when opened.

  2. option to change the mic from audio record to Google voice input

    there's a mic button not the one on my keyboard but in the so itself. we should have the option to use it for Google voice input

  5. Enabling landscape rotation for Quick Reply

    Dear Textra,
    first - thank you so much for your app!

    Sometimes when I am using quick reply, I need to type a bit longer message. In this situation I really appreciate full keyboard on landscape.

    I do not see any obstacles for enabling this.
    And it could be optional.

    So please, think about it.

  6. SMS and MMS backup to cloud

    Create a way to backup SMS and MMS to the cloud; I'm to Google Drive or Dropbox, etc. so when installing on a new device all previous messages are there.

    It would be nice, in my opinion, to be able to change the color of the font independent of the bubbles, and have a greater background selection instead of just white, gray, or black.

    When you have a thread open, add the ability to click on their picture and have the option to give them a unique notification sound and led color.

    To have an emoji pack that gives the most used emojis simple animations. Like fireworks that explode. Basically a bit like the emoticons on Skype.

  12. Recycle Bin

    PLEASE make a trash bin that you can undelete if you have deleted accidentally, like on email or on a computer. I accidentally deleted a text. I was trying to get it back and I accidentally deleted ALL my texts even my delayed texts. I'm sooooooo sad about this!!

    PS LOVE Textra. it's the only reason I haver switched to an iphone!!!!!!

  13. More Fonts!

    Font selection is dismal. Personally, I'm so totally sick of and tired of any and all 'sans' style fonts on all my apps, from every screen on most my devices. I want... Something else. Show me fancy, or bold, or striking, decorative, emotional, something... SERIF. Calligraphic. Brushed. Hand-written. Fck professional and clean looking.
    Or give us an option to import our own... Like Chomp. Better yet, import our own font PER conversation.
    I fully realize I speak for a slim minority of Android users, but sometimes, SANS fonts just don't cut it.

  14. How about blocking based on number & content.

    That way spammers who messages from different numbers, could be blocked before they land in my conversation queue.

    I saw recently Textra started supporting ios reactions to Android messages. Will there be an update when Android can add their own reactions to messages that will also be able to be viewed by ios users?

    black and white are a little monotonous, don't you think? why don't we add a function to customize text color into others rather than black&white?

  19. Archive Chats

    It would be nice if there was an archive chat option. That way it's out of the main area, but you dont have to delete the entire thing. Comes in handy if you chat with someone not often, but want to maintain the older conversations.
