  1. Have Textra resync the ability to copy the messages in its database to the sms database and back.

    Just to be clear, I really love Textra. It has been my go-to sms app ever since I discovered it in the play store. But when some things don't go well on my phone, like unsynced messages, I have a huge problem.
    I always backup my messages. Thousands of them. I use SMS Backup & Restore to keep these messages when I transfer phones or do a factory reset of the phone.   2. Allow custom font sizing and custom fonts.

    what about using the volume buttons to tweak the size of your own font to your liking? thing i'v noticed is that the size difference between normal and larger is too great. I'd also love a choice of fonts, or if that's too much to implement, something to make the current font look nicer, like adjusting the weight to condenses, or light. the size is the issue here though. almost every aspect of textra is there, it's just the font issue for me now!

    An option exist to show or hind the text message in notification bar.

  5. Message Read/Seen Report

    Ability to know when the message has been seen and also if and when the other person is responding to your messages like on iphones and fb messenger. This is different and more advanced than just the delivery report.

  6. Option to exit or leave group text conversation

    It would be nice to leave the group conversation. Mass or group tests are aggravating!

  8. Reminders!

    Allow reminders to be set for individual messages so that we can be reminded to follow up on the message at a later, more convenient time. Automatically set these messages as unread again.

  9. copy portions of text in a message instead of only being able to copy the whole message.

    it would be incredibly helpful to highlight and copy specific world or sections of text in one message. at this time only the whole message can be copied.

  12. different color bubbles for individual people in a group messages and have options to change each persons color.

    most messenging apps do this. makes group messages easier to read. Also an option to have their bubble color be locked to their specific bubble color.

  13. Save & Restore Textra Settings

    I've had multiple occasions where I needed to reinstall Textra or I get a new phone and download Textra. There should be a setting where you can save your settings as a file and you can restore your settings with that file in the app.

    For reasons I do not fully understand, I sometimes accidentally delete a txt message. It would be great if they went to a trash box instead of disappearing forever! Maybe include a setting for how many days to keep deleted messages.

  19. SDK Integration with Yappy

    I think that all other SMS/MMS apps are inferior to Textra but I haven't been using it because of the support for Yappy. Any chance of using the SDK integration for Yappy so that Textra works fully with Yappy?
