    do the devs even read this? I can't believe such a basic feature is not available. recreating all user settings is a huge task when installing on new devices.

    There are a number of very good apps that focus specifically on backup and restore of messages. We recommend and use SMS Backup & Restore.

    No point us re-inventing the wheel and losing focus on the core aspects of Textra.
