  1. These may have been suggested in the past and maybe there's a way to do it, but I haven't found it. I think the app would benefit from:

    1. Ability to open a text and then close it marking it "unread" so the user can come back to it later

    2. Ability to assign an icon or color to a user-defined text group name so that it stands out in the list of texts. I can change the color within the text stream but there's nothing that I can do to make that particular text stream stand out in the list of 100's of texts I have

  2. unknown folder

    it's better to add a folder for sms from unknowns. It makes it easier to use the app.

  4. Replacement of SMS sending notification

    It's a good application, congratulations! As a suggestion in the future, maybe make an update to replace the notification tone when sending sms. Thank you!

  10. LED Notification colors

    Please add the ability to change the color of the notification LED light in devices that support this (OnePlus/Oxygen OS). Or at least allow option to use native/default notification color!
    Frequency of blink would be another great option.
    This really helps differentiate notifications from Textra to other apps. Would be a really great feature. Even if it's a One-Time pay to unlock option!

    All the option to search for key words within a text thread that is opened.

  12. Block sms bases on "words /phrases"

    there should be option to block some words/ text in this app so that spam & advertisements can be blocked by just "selected word or phrase".. its a must have option nowadays but sad to see it missing in textra..

  13. Deactivate Message Slide Functions

    I can't stand them in any of my phone apps, but usually you can deactivate the function. I'm taking about the slide left to delete, slide right to archive functions. I simply don't want anything to happen if I move my finger left or right. Inadvertent slide functionality has led to thrown phones in my past.

  14. allow custom vibration settings

    I HATE how the app defaults to the basic vibration pattern, even with my custom android sound and vibration settings. I am very particular about my settings and for texts I prefer the vibration and sound to be short and sweet. I do not like any vibration pattern to be longer than my chosen text sound, it bothers me way too much so this issue kind of drives me crazy as there's no way to fix it unless I stop using textra altogether, which I really don't want to do.

  18. Choose font color and sort position of new messages

    All messages are currently the same color and new messages are only bolded and sorted below all pinned contacts. Would be nice to have option to select another font color of all new messages and the option to have all new messages shown above pinned contacts to see immediately without having to scroll down.
