  1. Group Messages To Default or Mobile Numbers Only

    When you send a group message the app by default will send it to all numbers held against a person. Would it be possible to just a default number or just mobile numbers.

  2. Add alphanumeric characters to list of notification icons

    Add single letter/number icons (A-Z,0-9) to list of available notification icons OR BETTER STILL, allow user to specify one or two characters to identify a conversation and have the app build a notification icon on the fly using those letters to display on the status bar.

  5. Photos need to be bigger

    When someone sends me a photo, the thumbnail needs to be much bigger. I want to see the photo well without having to tap on the photo.

    Android Messages just added this feature. It would be great if Textra recognized common formats. Maybe allow custom formats as well!

    please make it where you can swipe to delete message remove or you just click once instead of twice to delete the message it's so annoying besides that it's a great app

  11. Order of Attachment in Picture Attaching Pictures Selection Order

    I'm using a Galaxy S8 on AT&T and I have a problem with attaching pictures in the correct order.

    When I try attaching multiple pictures through the gallery preview that pops up to send in a single text, it gets attached and sent out of order.

    It would be great if it was added in the order it was selected or at least in chronological order by date and time picture was added to phone.

    For example, let's say I took 3 pictures in one day:
    First picture was taken at 10am
    Second picture was taken at 2pm
    Third picture…

  13. Fitbit charge 3 quick reply compatibility!

    please find a way to use quick reply on charge 3, I can receive texts notifications with textra on the 3 but can't quick reply... is there a reason why I can't?

  16. Choose where to store textra media

    The default storage location for textra media is the internal phone storage and I don't see any way to change that. I'd like the option to change that to SD card storage to save internal phone storage space.

  18. Allow messages from unknown renders to be grouped into a strangers folder.

    this is the only feature that go SMS does better than textra. there is a thread within all the other text messages that is easily clicked to bring up a strangers folder. that folder looks like the normal messages thread but all of the numbers are contacts that are not saved. hitting the back button puts you right back into your regular messages. please consider this.

  19. Change App Name

    I hope there's an option to use the more generic app name like "Messaging", "Message" or Text Message like the rest of text messaging app, rather than the brand name Textra for Home shortcut.

  20. End multiple windows/instances

    I love the app but cannot stand multiple instances that fill up the screen when I go to the apps that are opened. No other text app I have tried does this.
