  1. Sleep Mode

    Plaese, add new option - sleep Mode for individual contact. I need to set Sleep Time for some contacts, because them disturb me at the night. I need to set vibration at sleep mode too, and notification signal too.
    Every possible option with sleep mode will be great.

  4. Messaging via Laptop!

    Textra is beautifully designed and flawless on my Samsung galaxy s5. If you guys want to be the number one texting app on the Play Store, then develop texting from the computer! This function would make the app complete and get more business from the other less well designed computer messaging apps.

  6. Un "accusé de réception"

    Il faudrait qu'à chaque message que l'on a envoyé, il y aurait un petit truc en dessous du message pour voir si il l'a lu !
    Une fois cette fonctionnalité acquise, cette application sera totalement complète !

    Allow muting of specific conversations for a timeframe instead of just toggling mute; for example mute for 10 minutes

  8. Samsung gear

    Support in the form of a gear app would be nice. I have a nexus 6 and a gear 23rd frontier. Having a gear app would be nice since messaging isn't supported on my phone by samsung.

  9. Why so much work to delete a conversation?

    Shouldn't have to swipe and then press the garbage can twice. Make it easier, with fewer steps to delete.

  11. Dual sim colour labelling

    Best SMS/MMS app I've used - one request for dual sim Ines - I'd really like it if I could add a colour to the sim description. Then when I'm sending a message in addition to the 1 or 2 I see, I could see a colour related to the 1 or 2. Would make it easier to identify my appropriate sim when I'm just glancing at my phone e, as opposed to really looking at my phone.

    Have the option to display newest message at the bottom rather than the top. Helpful for some of the larger/taller displays.

    Hello guys, it would be great to add a section where you can see who you have muted. Right now if i delete a message of someone i've muted i can't see anywhere who i have muted in order to unmute him/her.

  14. Search for sms number in contacts listed in connected Directory

    I have a connected corporate business contact directory. When I receive a text message in Textra from one of those contacts it only shows me the number and not their name.

    It appears Textra is not searching the connected corporate directory for contacts in order to find a matching name to the number.

  16. mms picture size & quality

    It would be great if you can enable advanced options for picture resizing & quality for MMS.

    If you have low mms size limit that really matters

    example : I guess most people would prefer higher resolution (like 1200) with lower JPG quality (let's say 75%) rather than 400x600 with 90%

    option might look like :
    - try to keep minimum picture size at <1200> (shorter edge) lowering the picture quality up to <75%> max
    or on the other hand :
    - try to keep minimum picture quality at <90%> resizing the short edge down to <800px> minimum

    or sth…

  18. TextraWeb (web interface for Textra)

    Basically, something very close to WhatsApp Web; a web interface that locally (not cloud based) connects to the phone and allows messaging & interaction from a browser UI.

    Right now, there is a very small subset of services that do "online texting" - MightyText and Pushbullet are the major two players. DeskSMS used to be popular, but isn't supported by the developer and has largely been removed from the Play Store. Today, MightyText put a nail in their own coffin by limiting free accounts to 500 messages per month, which will make most serious free-tier users leave or look elsewhere.

  19. reminder alarm setup for a message

    I quite often need to take action on a message real soon. example - my spouse asks if I already paid the mortgage for current month. I should be able to setup alarm on that message for a date and time.

  20. Option not to show message preview on Message list

    Option to display message preview or not on message list screen or not. Keeps prying eyes from seeing anything but the icon and name of the sender and not the last message sent or received. That way the user can decide whether to open the thread or not
