  1. I would like to be able to swap the incoming and outgoing conversation bubbles so that Outgoing is on the Left and Incoming is on the Right.

  2. Passcode Lock

    Textra is amazing on my device and BLOWS GoSMS(which I use) out of the water. However the ONLY feature holding me back is the lack of privacy due to no security over the inbox such as a pass code. If this feature could be implemented im sure myself and many others would make the jump official!

  4. Be able to create templates of texts you use often.

    I send reminder texts to clients for their appointments. I don't want to have type each one out or copy and paste. ;-)

  5. smaller distance in between rows, messages

    will be nice to add option to set if you like less space in between rows of messages, not in text, just senders and messages. If you using lower dpi screen you have a lot unused space

  6. have the app open to your most recent conversation (including ones in popups) rather than the last one you had open in the app.

    Right now if I've had a conversation with someone in popup windows and then open the actual app it opens at the last conversation i had open in the app even if that was not the one I was most recently carrying on in popups. This makes it really easy to accidentally send a text to the wrong person! It would be much nicer if the app would open to the conversation with the most recent activity, or perhaps even better if it just opened to the conversation list. Perhaps there could be a setting that allowed one to customize…

  13. Visible lock screen notification

    Handcent lights up the screen when you get a message so the lock screen notification is very obvious and visible (just like on iPhones). Would love to see Textra do that - most of the time I don't notice I have a message unless I pay attention to the blinking light.

  17. change pattern of notification light

    I think you should be able to change the pattern of the notification light. I think 'blink' or 'steady' would be better options. When I glance at my phone, I want to see a solid light lit for a message.

  19. Have a count of how many texts you've sent each contact.

    next to each contact, have a running count of the total number of texts sent back and forth between the two of you.
