  1. Double Tap to Paste

    You should add a feature where if the user double taps the text area (the box you type the message in) it automatically pastes the current text on the clipboard. And if users don't like it, they can turn it off. (Or just make it off by default)

  3. Quick reply support on Fitbit Versa

    Since the Fitbit Versa now has quick reply support it would be great if your app did as well. I stopped using it for this reason.

  4. Sort messages by time sent instead of received

    Sometimes messages get delayed on my carrier, so if Textra had an option to display & sort messages according to the sent time instead of the received time, that would be very handy, especially when trying to make sense of group chats.

  6. A Complete Redesign

    As most Android apps are now using bottom navigation bar instead of top because Phones are getting taller
    So a bottom navigation bar makes sense.

  7. Reply to a specific text message

    Can you add the feature to reply to a specific text message? Similar to Viber and Whatsapps, you long press on a specific message and it copies that message into input area as a reply.

    I would love it if I could have a filter to view all the conversations that have unread messages. my old dumb phone would do this, and I miss it.

  9. Responding more than once in the notification

    I really like how smoothly one can respond with a message right through the notification, but I wish there was an option to disable the automatic retraction of the window upon sending the message so you can send more then one. Perhaps if this option was enabled, there could be an X or upward arrow at the top too close the window when you're done.

  11. scheduled messages

    many 3rd part apps allow for messages to be scheduled for sending. kind of acts like a reminder, but can have other functions too. Can schedule a text to be sent at 12:01 am to wish a happy birthday, etc.

  15. customize notification on contact groups

    It would be great if the same customizations that is possible pr. contact could be made on contact groups! Especially the notification sound.
    I am member of a volunteer rescue team. We have a leader group that calls out to all volunteers. When I am on duty I shall modify sound on all leaders and back a and back again after duty. It would bee much easier to place the leaders in a group and customize the sound that groups :-)

  17. Group texting

    If I send a mass/group text, the app asks to be allowed for a number of times. I asked a while back for this to be fixed. Not sure if it's my Google phone or the App! I would love if it only asked once and then send the 400 texts! That would be great/Perfect!!!
