Schedule messages X minutes from now
The schedule feature works great, but if I'm messaging some grill I don't care about sending it a specific time, I just don't want her to know how desperate I really am. So an option to send a message like "15 mins from now" would be dope.

more fonts and customization options
It would be nice to add more fonts, and to have a few more customization options. Besides that this app is running fine.

Option to remove contact-specific notifications
The new "feature" where you create new notification channels for different contacts is horrifically annoying.
I have my notifications for Textra configured how I want them. I hate that you reset the sound and turn on vibrate for new contact and I have to manually go in and change them all back.
Please give a setting to disable this frustrating behavior.

Individual notification icons
Love the new icons in place of the white message. Would be nice to be able to give these icons to individual contacts and not be a one for all.

Bring back the "later" button
When you opened the message box from the pull down menu you could tap "later" after reading it and the notification would still be there, now the option is gone

option to make unread messages bold
like on ios, makes unread messages more obvious

bring back later option on notification
prior to the last update you cold view a floating view of a text then choose to return it to the notification bar with the later option. this had been replaced with a leave unreasonably option which still removes the notification. this is substantially less useful as keeping the notification is much better at reminding me of the text for future response. please bring this back

Use a single line in the notification bar instead of a huge floating pop-up that blocks the screen.

I like the new icons. Can you add more? Like a firefighter's helmet, something with nursing/medical, teacher, law enforcement?

decrease the size of the GIFs on the selection pages.

Use pictures from phones contact list.
"Pick Recipient" page should show immediately after hitting New Message.

Backup for settings
I think it would be good, if I can make a backup form all settings.
