  1. send/receive SMS from web browser over SAME wi-fi network, similar to WhatsApp web?

    I'd like to be able to send/receive SMS from a web browser when my mobile and PC is connected to the SAME network (Wi-Fi)

    It'd still use mobile network for sending/received text (not internet)

  3. Offer keyboard rotation

    When i currently rotate my smartphone then the keyboard display is NOT rotated. It remains in portrait mode. Please allow keyboard rotation.

  5. SwiftKey bug - secondary keys (",&,+,etc) not working in quick view

    Not sure if this is a SwiftKey bug or a Textra thing, but when I'm trying to type a response in a quick view box (not in the full-blown app) the shift or secondary button options will not work. I can select the character, but then it never actually shows up in the compose section.

    Running latest version of Textra on Droid Turbo with Android v5.1

  6. Single GIF Size

    I love GIFs, but they all come in different sizes (often small). I would greatly appreciate it if there was a single text box size for the GIFs. Thanks!¡!

  7. Please stop making adverts appear after the message list loads

    When I get a new message, the first thing I'm going to click when I open the app is the top message - except there's a delay of about a second before the ad appears, which means just as I go to click on the new text, I end up clicking on the advert.
    I don't mind having adverts, but this feels mean-spirited and will only push me to another app or an ad blocker, rather than make me donate to get rid of the ads.
    (Also seems like it may go against Google admob behavioural policies).

  8. Group messaging

    Group message should be in this message application. It's one of the most important thing in messaging and this app don't have it yet. I'd like to see group messaging on the next updates. Overall this app is awesome it's just missing group messaging and custom wallpaper like other people are suggesting

  11. have sms or mms next to message to know what format it has been sent as?

    Can you please put the format the message is sent in! As I don't want to get charged for MMS messages and I only have free SMS texts. Also does long message does long SMS message convert automatically to MMS? I hope not as this is the main reason why I changed to Textra from the original messaging app!

  15. Option to customize bubble color per contact (would make identifying who said what in groupchats easier)

    Right now all the bubble colors are the same for all contacts, which makes it difficult to identify who said what in a group chat. The only distinguishing characteristic is the person's name slightly transparent above the message, so either adding the option to customize bubble color per contact or adding the person's contact photo next to their name would make things a lot easier in my opinion

  17. ISO Assistance: MMS too large

    I'm looking for assistance. Often when trying to send an animated GIF (built-in ones), I get a "MMS too large" error. I've tried every MMS setting combo to no avail. I've got AT&T.

  18. Keyboard keeps popping up

    When you scroll to the bottom of the messages thread WITHOUT swiping the message bar up to type a message the friggin keyboard keeps automatically popping up ANNOYINGLY. The keyboard shouldnt pop up unless you swipe the message bar up NOT by simply swiping up the messages. There should be no connection between to 2 different motions. The problem is when you scroll to the bottom of the message the keyboard automatically pops up causing half the message to disappear and you have to flick the keyboard down all the time to get rid of it to read the other…

  19. Okay Google, do I have any messages?

    So I recently left Textra for this reason. When I ask Google Now if I have any messages it doesn't work. It won't find any. Kind of a bummer.

    Can we please add Google Now recognition? Is that even possible?
