  1. Distinction

    It would be nice to have lines or different color conversation bars on the screen that shows all your texts /conversations instead of everything running together.. Thanks

  3. add option to disable all animations

    I find all animations highly distracting and a bit of an eyesore would it be possible to add an option disable them or have the application follow the settings of the Android device s developer options.

  4. Backing up messages

    An option to backup all messages on google cloud automatically would be wonderful.
    Whenever we restore our google account on some other device we may get them all synced via cloud. Plus, this will also allow me to have same account on multiple devices with my messages always synced across.
    The synced messages may be marked specially to avoid confusion of sim and stuff.

  5. Use the contact color for a ring around the contact portrait/photo

    Simply make the solid color circle slightly bigger and show it behind the contact portrait. Useful for when too many of the pics you have to use for contacts are too visually similar, this change would just show the contact color again as a ring around the picture.

    please add a sent notification just like the regular android built in sms. because sometimes my friend didnt receive my message because i thought it already sent but it didnt. thank you

  7. Unread text count not showing

    I was having trouble with getting Textra to show the count of unread texts and I tried all of your suggestions so I resorted to getting a fresh copy of Textra loaded by optimization. After I did that, the count is showing and it is running perfectly! Please put this option in your suggestions for other people with the same problem. Thank you!

  8. Blacklist people/groups from photo syncing

    I love the fact that Textra can sync with Google Play, however, there are a couple people/groups that constantly send ...less important pictures.

    I think it would be great to have media from blacklisted people not sync, whether their media is put into a nonsync'd folder or some other approach, I believe it would make for a cleaner experience.

    I would prefer the sync blacklist per person as that person may post media in a different group every time and still get through.

  9. Settings Profiles for Contacts

    Create the ability to make and assign custom setting Profiles to be applied to each contact that encompasses the already in place individual contact settings (i.e. color, notification settings, etc.) This way we could more easily categorize our chats.

  10. Default Contact Photo Color Changing

    Create the option to set a custom color for the letter image that appears for contacts without custom profile images, or make it identical to the color of their chat bubbles.

  11. Schedule Blacklist on/off

    Some of us have to use our personal phone for work. I Blacklist my clients one by one so they can't reach me after hours. It would be nice to schedule this both off and on (so I don't forget in the morning)

  12. Post a bug?

    Current version : I deleted all the messages from one person. Now when I receive a new message (the now first message) I can see the message in the Android preview, when I open textra I see the message deleted before I can read it. I was able to stop this auto delete by first sending a message.

  20. i am using pro but when i type a message it splits even within 10 characters in a line even thogh lot of remaining space in that line

    any adjustment to continue the message in the same line like other sms app
