  1. enhance reactions to images/videos/MMS

    Thanks for adding RCS/reactions to text messages (sending & receiving). 1) It would be nice to support incoming iPhone reactions to images/videos/MMS as well as allowing us to react to those. 2) It would be nice to have a ... option in the react menu to pick other emojis.

    Would there be a way to turn textra into an OTT messaging app? maybe if it gets popular enough it can be a better option than Google RCS?

    does it have RCS since reactions work well to iOS ? could edit message. perhaps a double tap rather than. tap face to see all reactions. double tap 💕 💜 heart. or 👍. quicker to react

    Well, I just got Textra to get away from Google trying to shove RCS down my throat.

    One of the first things I notice in Textra is the apparent inability to select a message and "View details" of the message. I personally would like to see that feature.

    So far, so good otherwise.

  5. Update so that android users can reliably get MMS group chat and responses from iPhone users

    I'm being left off the string of MMS messages sent from some of my groups who have iPhones. And, their response to my group message doesn't get back to me. If I switch to GOogle message and enable RCS, I can get their messages but I like Textra so much more and even paid for the pro version

  6. Rich SMS

    This app would again be my default and secure the position as my #1 favorite texting app if you supported the RCS protocol. Are you working on it currently? Is it too difficult? In any case, I hope I don't have to wait too much longer for it.

  7. New message format

    sorry for my bad English.
    I love your app since few year.
    and now I just want to know if the new message format (italic, bold, RCS, emoji as answer to z message) is supported. and how to enable this because I don't find how on the options.

  8. Plz make Imergency Alerts to be seen on the screen

    I hope to be able to see Imergency alerts on the app just like the other message apps such as smasung message, google message, and many others. I understood why the messege is not showing. It is because the emergency alert is based on cell broad casting method which is quite diffrentiated from RCS method that your app is originally willing to. But I really hope to see imergency alerts for public convenience and it will definitely improve market adventages of your app.

  9. AT&T Advanced Messaging Issue

    I am having an issue where sometimes I dont receive incoming texts. AT&T has said it could have to do with the Advanced Messaging setting and I saw you post here - https://textra.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/894480-t-mobile-at-t-verizon-missing-messages-rcs.

    The problem I am having is that I can go into the stock Messages app on my S9 and disable Advanced Messaging. However, as soon as I start using Textra again, the setting switches back to Enabled. It can only be disabled within the stock app and re-enables as soon as I make Textra my default. So I cannot use Textra because I will miss…

  10. Smartwatch App

    An actual app for Samsung smart watches would be great, not just notifications. With Samsung and other messaging apps leaving this would be the perfect time for you to take over. Those who have a smartwatch know that you need the same app for each device for it to work (because you need both apps to be the default ones on each device). I get that you have a notification feature on the watch but it's not the same. Most of us are going to be stuck with Google Messages which is terrible compared to Textra. I don't care about …

    Is there a place to get actual support help from other users (aka a real "forum") for the many issues not addressed in Knowledge Base? Since the word "forum" appears in the URL above, it would be great if this really were a forum, and not just a way to leave feedback.

    For the pittance I paid for Pro, I don't expect live support from your staff, but I'm sure other users have had similar issues and would answer my questions, as I might theirs.

    My current problem is the list of texts to and from my daughter won't appear…
