Create groups
It would be great to be able to create SMS groups, for example, grouping together SMS messages from business contacts, friends, family, etc.

Contact Customization Save Feature
Every time I get a new phone, I have to set up all of my contact with their respective colors and text tones all over again. I'm surprised that Textra has not implemented a way to save these contact nuances to a user account to transfer seamlessly whenever switching to a new phone. This would be a game changer for Textra since the main appeal seems to be the customization options. Please find a way to save and remember these customization options. I'd gladly make an account or something to do so. Thanks.

mute all reactions
I don't want to get a notification when my friends react to a message. Muting all reactions would be ok.

block links
it would be nice if we have the option to block links. there's too many scammers and I have already pocket clicked a phony link which ultimately cost me hundreds of dollars, many hours wasted and a lost business profile on Facebook.

Contact grouping and tabbed inbox
Samsung's stock messaging app has a feature that allows you to create tabbed inbox categories for contacts, including choosing a "front page" tab that may not be "all messages". For example, contact groups could be Family, Work, etc.
In my case I use it to group my known contacts, and then set that as my front page when I open the app, all spam texts therefore get sent to a second tab where all contacts are shown.5 votes -

"replied to a message"
Similar to the update with reactions, the "replied to a message" solo text from iOS users is annoying - could it be auto deleted, or shown as an arrow reaction on the message the user sent as the reply? I wish I could show a screenshot for clarity here but I think we all know what I'm talking about. I hope.

Hide Conversations
The ability to hide, or lock as private, conversations with specific contacts in the list.
For example, my 10 year old son uses my phone when he is with me to text his mom and cousins, and I don't necessarily want him to be able to read some of the other conversations between me and my buddies or my gf.

RCS feature
RCS helps messaging between users easier by seeing if the recipient is currently typing, can react to different message bubbles better with different emojies, can pick a message bubble to specifically on, and can send images better without the use of MMS and just simply by being connected to mobile data or the internet.
