  1. Compatibility with Signal (Rich encrypted messages over internet)

    Make Textra a client for Signal by Open Whispers Systems. The Signal app is open source and allows to exchange files and messages with end to end encryption as well as calls and video calls.Textra could be used as a replacement of Signal or work with the app, or an add-on. This would be an equivalent to iMessages, messages over internet (in case of poor cellular connectivity) with SMS fallback.

  11. Better camera

    the camera used by Textra is quite poor, especially in low light. it would be wonderful if there was a way to interface with the existing camera software on the phone and utilize that to take pictures, or to completely overhaul Textra's camera so that it better addresses different situations when one would take a photograph and send it via text message.

    Security Messages: this may be a stretch. an option that can make a specific contact's, or a group chat to be only accesible via a 4 digit pin or keyboard password. coule ve potentially possible for someone who doesn't know or have a protected phone, and those who look at conversations where they aren't supposed to.

    can you add, automatic message? kind of like an away message for email, so if I'm in a meeting and someone text, I can have it send an automatic message to the recipient that I'm busy at the time..

    Hello! I think it would be very beneficial as incentive to become a Pro User if you offered benefits (other than no ads) maybe more personalization abilities, alerts, I'm sure you guys can think of something great.     please separate the picture from the text when sending pictures via messages similar to how WhatsApp, iMessage handle it even the Samsung messaging application as well as Google Messages.. all of them do this. when you send a message the picture is above with a small line underneath is the text where you write. on yours it's all group together it sends separately and works beautifully however it's just not clean looking...
