  3. Private box to be added

    Consider adding private box to Textra app. It is very useful tool offered also by other competing apps for sms. I have a premium version of Textra but really missing such tool.

  5. get rid of the ugly plus sign (new message) at the bottom right

    get rid of the overbearing huge new message icon laid over the message list at the bottom right. not pretty, looks untidy, and reminds me of the hateful bubble from facebook messenger.

  6. enable contact photos in conversations so that the text bubble will be coming from a picture

    I want the person I'm texting's contact photo to be displayed so that it looks like their photo is saying the SMS.

  7. show number of texts per person in contact list next to each contact

    when you first open Textra, and you see each contact that you've been texting, to see a total of texts for each person would be nice. GoSms has that feature. that being said, I much prefer Textra over Gosms.thank you

  10. Make it possible to change the header color as well as the bubble colors without having to use just set theme settings

    For example, a blue them has blue message colors as well as a blue header, I would love if you made it possible to change these colors to something custom. Like if i choose a blue theme, make it so I can hange the header color to white or grey, etc.

  11. Utilize the proximity sensor to avoid waking the screen when the device is in your pocket when "wake screen" is enabled.

    It is really annoying to find I have sent random replies to people because the screen turns on in my pocket. Most any other app that wakes the screen automatically uses the proximity sensor to check to make sure it isn't in the user's pocket to decide whether or not to wake the screen so as to avoid this scenario. Thanks!

    example when i am playing a game landscape.. the current version textra's quick reply becomes portrait.. I will have to rotate my device just to reply.. :D dis might be good suggestion

  14. Merge SMS with Hangouts and Facebook Messenger chats!

    I have 3 separate messaging apps installed in my phone: Textra, Hangouts, and Messenger. Wouldn't it be awesome if I could have just Textra installed? kind of like how Hangouts can merge Hangouts chats with SMS/MMS.

  19. provide the option to name a conversation, which would be particularly useful with distinguishing group conversations!

    i maintain a number of group messaging conversations, sometimes with some overlapping people so it would be very useful to be able to name the conversations! similar to the option that facebook provides with its messages
