  2. Numbers convert to link in sms

    Some times someone sends me a phone number in a sms and i have to memorize it and dial it. If it converts to link i can do it with a single tap and its so handy

  4. Group Messaging: ability to respond to individual in group or everyone.

    Wait... how are we talking about all of these other ideas and this one hasn't been implemented yet. it's the most standard feature on any messaging app. When sending a group message there should be an option to turn on and off the ability to have the members of the group respond to me directly or to everyone in the group. And I should be able to respond to a specific user directly without everyone in the group getting the message.   5. Is there the ability to recover deleted messages?

    If I inadvertently delete a message, to have the ability to recover it.

    PLEASE ADD AN AUTO DELETE OLD TEXTS.

    Make it an option:
    Opt out - dont check the box
    Option one - auto delete texts in each thread after 200
    Option two - auto delete texts in each tjread after 500

  8. Option to disable/enable notifications on a specific thread of group messages

    On group text threads, sometimes you aren't interested in the conversation for one reason or another, it would be nice to be able to disable notifications for that thread until you decide to be interested again.

  10. Option to silence notifications when receiving too many consecutive messages from a contact

    We all have that friend (or many of them) who like to send their full thoughts broken into several consecutive texts and sometimes they send you four or five at once, resulting in your notification sound going crazy. I've seen a feature in other messaging clients that will silence consecutive notification sounds if they are receiving within a user-set interval (such as 3, 5, or 10 seconds). This would be very useful in Textra!

  12. Sending long messages as MMS

    In the stock app, if a text message gets longer than 6 pages, itll automatically turn the message into an MMS and send it as one long message vs multiple split texts. I would totally support and upgrade to the pro version if Textra would add this capability.

  13. Paragraphs

    You can't hit the enter button to separate sentences. Everything has to be one paragraph. Would be nice if the enter button could be used so you can begin a new paragraph on another line opposed to hitting enter and the message being sent. Just wish the enterprise button worked like the enter button on a keyboard that's all. I hate not being able to separate my thoughts or sentences in a text message.

  18. Full app sync over Bluetooth or WiFi to a tablet including texting and calling abilities

    Sync all the capabilities of the phone app to a tablet app over Bluetooth or WiFi to be able to text or answer a call from the tablet. This would be a great feature for people using tablets as their car's head unit because of the great UI of textra

    Make it so you can set a different alert sound for the repeat notification so you don't think you keep getting messaged when it's just repeat notifying.

  20. A scroll bar on message threads

    I think a scroll bar on message threads would really help because the only way to scroll right now is to endlessly scroll page by page. A scroller bar would be convenient when users want to revisit older messages and dont know what to search to find them.
