Ability to add Phone Numbers and Email addresses in an SMS to contacts.
Sometimes you receive an SMS containing an email address or a phone number. To help facilitate adding the email/ phone number this feature should be implemented so that upon tapping on the phone number/ you get the option to either Call/Email or add to contacts.

Bigger Quick-reply Window when the keyboard is visible
I would like to have a bigger quick-reply window when writing back (keyboard visible).
At the moment (v2.12) the window is pretty small and I can only read one line in the conversation. So it would be better if the window covers more of the empty space (between the status bar and the keyboard. Here's an screenshot: http://goo.gl/D0zAxd

Ability to unselect one or more individual of a group before sending the sms
When sending a message to a group, it could be very useful to have the ability to unselect one or more contacts from the group, that are not concerned by the current message.
And when sent, to have access to a detailed report including the date/time received for each contact of the group.Thank you so much for this great app, and I look forward to see the new improvments ! ;-)

Display only the latest text in quick reply
8sms has the neat feature of only showing the latest message from the sender once the user presses reply from the notification drawer. The current setup makes it difficult to see the latest message if it's quite lengthy. Often, I have to bring down the keyboard to see the message. Adding this would definitely make this app 5/5

Either make the notification bar solid black or completely transparent when using your app
Make it completely solid black or 100% transparent. The half transparent look is a bit off.

dot of a different color next to texts that are READ but not REPLIED TO, as opposed to just UNREAD
Often, people read a text but forget to reply. Having a colored dot or mark next to conversations in your inbox where you are not the last person to respond will minimize forgotten texts. This is similar to the dot currently appearing next to conversations with unread texts.

Send and receive MMS messages with captions as one message.
When sending and receiving MMS messages, the picture and its caption are separated into two messages instead of being all in one. It would be great if this was fixed!

Increase the size of contact icons both in the message thread catalog and when you select a thread
Make the icon for contact photos (if the contact has one) larger. Closer to that of Hangouts. There is quite a bit of wasted space. If the contact does not have an assigned photo and initials are set, randomly change the color of the contact icon circle like in Google's People app.

option to delete locked messages when deleting whole conversation thread
sometimes i lock certain messages in a conversation and when im finally done with the conversation and want to eventually unlock and delete them, would be great to not have to individually unlock each one before deletion (which it seems is how it currently is). other text apps just have a popup when you try to delete the conversation thread asking if you want to delete locked messages too (so with one confirmation you can delete all the locked ones, rather than manually unlocking each one)

Erase all multimedia
Have an option to delete all MMS, audios or pictures onlè, not the entire conversation.

Make the contact icon colorful (like Chomp SMS and the Gmail app)
All the contact icons in one theme color look quite boring. Please give an option to have different color icons for each contact just like in Chomp SMS.
